10 Life Lessons I Learned From Burning Man 2023

Burning Man in 2023 was filled with rain, mud, and unexpected turns. The headline news around the world earned it the colloquial title of “Mud Man 2023.”

As over 76,000 people descended upon the Nevada desert, they were met with unexpected torrential downpours towards the end of the week.

The equivalent of 3 months of rain for the region fell within a 24 hour time period.

Given the event is hosted on an old lake bed, it turned the grounds into clay, which felt like walking through liquid cement.

Throughout it all, spirits remained high and I learned a lot about life.

Life will push you to the limit, but how you rise to the occasion defines you…like driving for 25.5 hours straight 💪
The situation is never as bad as it first seems. Center, ground, & get out of your head 🧠🧘
When you surrender into the flow, you will be led on unbelievable journeys ✨😍
Start a conversation with a stranger. They may just become lifelong friends… and lead you to the best parties 🎉😋
Treat everyone with compassion & kindness – you never know, a tenured Google executive may be the one personally serving you dinner 👨‍💼🍽️
We are here to support one another in times of need. What we give, we receive in return tenfold when we are on the other side 👯🤝
You can plan all you want, but your desire for control is an illusion that will continually be tested until you let go 🆓
Life is actually turning out for your Highest Good & Wisdom if you release your expectations of outcomes and do your best in the Now 🎁🤞🍀
Sometimes waiting & simply BEING makes your journey all the more ease-filled once the rains pass and the grounds dry 🌧️🌈🌞🚐
You have no idea what situations life has in store you. You can either dance in the rain or sulk in RV 🕺🪩🔥🙏🏽
